Bentley Continental GT - a family of supercars of the premium British brand, which replaced two models at once, Continental R and Continental T. In the name of the model two concepts are used: Continental means “continental”, and GT - type of body Grand Tourer. The first car of this family was the two-door coupe GT, whose world premiere took place in 2003. The Belgian body couturier Dirk van Brekel worked on the design of the novelty. He created the style of the car, coupled with its technical characteristics, aroused genuine interest from buyers, which resulted in the sale of 5983 copies of this model in the first year, which exceeded the planned performance of the Continental GT by 62 percent. In 2005, as part of the Geneva Motor Show, Bentley introduced another Continental family car - the Flying Spur sedan. The second generation of this family was presented in 2011. The manufacturer introduced the updated coupe and convertible, while the sedan continues to be produced in the first generation. In Ukraine, the Bentley Continental GT is sold in three body styles: the Flying Spur sedan, the GT coupe and the GTC convertible.
